Janet's Kabobs

4 cloves garlic
1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 c brown sugar
2 T oil
1/4 tsp
pinch of ginger
1/4 c karo syrup
4 chicken breasts or pork chops or sausage links

Soak about a dozen skewers in water while you prepare the sauce.
Whisk together everything except the meat.
Slice meat into small chunks.
Slide the meat onto the skewers and put in a 9X13 pan.
Pour sauce over the meat to marinade.
Set in fridge for at least 30 minutes before grilling.

Grill however you prefer.
I always use charcoal.
It takes about 15-20 minutes to cook through.
