Detox Day 1

Today was a FRUITY day!

If I have one more piece of watermelon today I might just explode.


Seriously take it away!!

No... it's not that bad...
Not as bad as our crunchy cantaloupe...


For lunch I decided to mix things up with a smoothie.
A handful of frozen blueberries.
A handful of frozen peaches.
1 cup of skim milk.
Sounds good, right?
It was about as appetizing as it looks.
{not much}
I choked it down and it was filling... 
but it was screaming for some honey or yogurt or something.
{Uh uh uh... not allowed!}

I gave it a good variety today though.
PINEAPPLE
CANTALOUPE
HONEY DEW
MANDARIN ORANGES
APPLES
BERRIES

Delicious!

But, I have to admit I have had a headache all day. 
I loved the feeling that I was resetting my body.
Purging the cravings for sugar and all kinds of unhealthy refinement.
I wasn't feeling hungry... I was actually eating a lot. 
But fruit leaves your tummy with a weird feeling, you know?

Then it dawned on me...
AVOCADOS.

So we looked it up...
Sure enough it is in the fruit family 
{hence the giant seed in the middle}
Off we went to the store and at 8 o'clock tonight had our feast
of AVOCADOS with garlic salt and pepper.





Now, I'm so content and comfortable, 
I will have a good night's sleep,

and I actually can't believe I'm saying this...
but I can't wait for my baked potato for breakfast.
