Detox Day 5

Today was tomato and beef day.

SIX TOMATOES

and

20 OUNCES of BEEF!

My least favorite day by far. I mean, just look at it....

I realize I put day 3 when it is really day 5...
but that's beside the point.

Because I felt quite like Uncle Rico today constantly gnawing on beef.


 I was singing the blues of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong...

Richard made a delicious breakfast.
He's a really good cook.

I walked into the kitchen and my kids were taking pictures of their breakfast.
ha. I guess they are feeling left out.

We couldn't take eating raw tomatoes for very long. 
{shudder}
So I researched it, and tomatoes have a lot of antioxidants...
hence the need to eat six of them during a detox
...and they only magnify in efficiency when they are cooked!

So great!
cooked tomato = more antioxidants

So lunch consisted of a great homemade tomato soup.

and for dinner, we had steaks with homemade barbecue sauce.

What I think I really disliked about today is that I have gotten into the habit of eating every 3-4 hours. 
With only beef and tomatoes? What kind of snack is that? Another tomato? Another slab of beef?

no... thank... you...

But it's over now... and tomorrow is...

more beef...

oh yeah.
