I swiped this recipe from Homesick Texan.
And it was from her late grandfather.
I might as well have robbed the grave, right?
Oh well, She is my absolute favorite blogger/cook/Texan.
1 egg
1 1/2 cup milk
2 c whole wheat flour
1 heaping T of baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 T sugar {or 2/3 T agave nectar}
4 T veggie oil
add ins:
blueberries, nuts, bananas, oats...
I prefer blueberries.
Her original recipe is not completely whole wheat.
If you aren't ready for the whole wheat jump, check out her version here.
I make those a lot too, the "not-a-racial-reference-white" ones.
They are the biggest fluffiest pancakes you will ever eat.
