
3 cups uncooked macaroni noodles
6 cups water
4-5 cups shredded cheddar cheese*
1/4 cup butter cubed
Cook macaroni in water according to package instructions.
Drain macaroni and return to pan.
Add freshly grated cheese with butter.
This is the work out part:
STIR! STIR! STIR! until all the cheese and butter melts.
You could add some steamed broccoli, or other favorite veggies.
We eat this meal about once a week.
This recipe makes a very large pot that could easily feed 4 people.
We keep it in the fridge and reheat left-overs for lunch.
*It's fun to do half cheddar and half pepper jack cheese, if you like a kick.
